In 2015 we are off to explore the great grasslands and forests of North East Asia. Its a seriously big place and there is much to see in the great tract of land between the Mongolia Gobi and the Siberian Taiga
We have 5 diverse and interesting trips lined up. You can choose Mongolia alone, combine Mongolia and Altai Siberia, follow Siberia’s Gulag Trail or take the Siberia route to the Mongol-Kazakh Eagle Festival.
Mongolia and Siberia
Our classic Mongolia-Siberia tour is getting a tweek in 2015. The stunning Ust-Koksa region of the Altai mountains with easily accessible alpine regions and spectacular display of wild flowers has caught or attention for this June departure. Read more.
Mongolian Trails
Our overland Mongolia safari has also had a tweek for 2015. This May small group departure will include the nature preserve of the endangered ‘Takhi’ Mongolian wild horse and the ancient volcanic landscapes of Tsagaan Nuur National Park enroute to the fosil sites and ‘Three Beauties’ of the southern Gobi. Gulag Trail
Get to grips with the coldest place on the planet when the sun is high and the climate is friendly on this ‘best for independent travellers’ adventure that is so far off the tourist route that even Joseph Stalin didn’t know where Yakutsk and Magadan were. Altai Eagle Festival
