Pakistan North West Frontier

This discovery style journey will commence in Islamabad and take you beyond the icy ramparts of the Karakoram Highway to the forested foot hills of the Hindu Kush by way of Hunza and Shandur Pass. Along the way we plan a village visit and some easy walks in upper Hunza. Then via the Shandur Pass to the Chitral Valley where we will learn something of the intriguing folk who live in the Kalash valleys of the Hindu Kush. We’ll be making our way down to Islamabad by way of the historically strategic Lowari and Malakand Passes.
