Itinerary at a glance
Day 1 Arrive Tashkent
Arrive Tashkent. After transfer to the hotel the rest of the day is free. Our arrangements commence with dinner this evening.

Day 2 To Nukus
This morning we have a relaxed sightseeing tour of Tashkent Civic Centre on foot and by metro. After lunch transfer to the airport for the late afternoon flight to Nukus

Day 3 To Khiva
This morning we will visit the stunning Savitski collections of Karalpakia applied arts and Russian avant-garde art. After lunch drive via Chilpak where we will visit the Tower of Silence, before continuing by road to Khiva.

Day 4 Khiva
Sightseeing in Khiva will include Madrassah Allakuli Khan, Madrassah Muhammad Amin Khan, Kunya Ark, Kelte Minar, Pakhlavan Mahmud Mausoleum, Islam Khoja Minaret and Madrassah, Madrassah Muhammad Rahimkhan, Juma Masjid, Tash Hovli Palace.

Day 5 to Bukhara
A full day's drive across the Kyzylkum Desert to Bukhara. Stops enroute including by the Amudaryo River.

Day 6 Bukhara
A full day sightseeing round Bukhara's old city incluidng including the Ark fortress, Minaret Kalyan (great minaret), Trade Domes, Labi Hauz complex, Ismail Samani mausoleum and Chashmai Ayub. Evening folk show at Nadir Divan Begi Madrassah.

Day 7 Bukhara
This morning visit Naqshbandi Complex on the outskirts of Bukhara. Return to Bukhara and visit Chor Minor Mosque. Free time this afternoon.

Day 8 To Asraf Village
This morning drive to Asraf village - a small village close to the Nuratau Nature Reserve where we will stay in a local homestay. Late afternoon explore around the house or relax under the walnut trees.

Day 9 To Samarkand
This morning there is time for short walk in the cool of the morning. Depart the village late morning and have a simple lunch along the way to Samarkand. Late afternoon visit Gur Amir Mausoleum close to our hotel.

Day 10 Samarkand
Sightseeing today includes Registan Square Afrosiab, Ulugbek Observatory and conclude the day at Shakhi Zinda necropolis.

Day 11 To Tashkent
Continue sightseeing in Samarkand - visit Bibi Khanym Mosque and bazaar. Also visit Koni Ghil Silk Paper centre. Transfer to railway station for late afternoon train to Tashkent.

Day 12 To Ferghana
We will travel on the newly opened railway line to Ferghana Valley, stopping at Kokand for lunch, then by car to Khudoyar-Khan Palace in Koqand and the famous Rishtan ceramic works.

Day 13 Ferghana - to Taskkent
A morning visit to the Kumtepa Sunday market then to Margilan to visit the Said Akhmad-Khoja Madrassa and the Yodgorlik Silk Factory. Back to Taskkent on the late afternoon train.

Day 14 Tashkent - depart
Transfer to airport for departure flight.
