Connect with Kyrgyz nomads' culture in the grasslands of the Tienshan Mountains.

Kyrgyzstan Silk Road

Connect with Kyrgyz nomads on this adventurous style ramble around the Tienshan Mountains of central Kyrgyzstan. We are going 'cross country' on a circular route that will take us to Historic Osh and beyond to Lenin Peak base camp. We'll make our way into the Issy Kul basin by the back door and explore some of Kyrgyzstan's diverse Nature Reserves along the way.

We plan to get out and about on the ancient trade routes crossing both the Torugart and Irkeshtam Passes and learn about the steppe culture of this green and mountainous little republic.

Talk to us about things to do if you would like to arrive in China a day or two earlier, or stay a little longer at the end of our tour.
